Caught in the act - Arts and Crafts

Devin is working the night shift this weekend. Earlier in the morning I laid down with Devin after my breakfast.  I got lost in the fluffy cloud of a duvet.

Later on in the day Devin laid back down for a pre night shift nap. Towards the end of the nap, I decided it would be an excellent time to work on an arts and crafts project.

Devin heard a "plink"  looked over and saw me in the hallway.  BUSTED!
busted with arts and crafts supply
yes?
nom nom
oh and a little off this side...

Ate half the roll *burp*
Last chomp before Devin took away my arts and crafts.- I was working the paper roll a bit too much.

While Devin was at work last night I thought I'd be helpful and roll down the blankets.

Wordless Wednesday

~semi wordless Wednesday~

Upon my arrival The Twins tried to use me as a springboard.  I quickly made my way into the yard and sniffed about.  I had a good feed on some grass, then retired to the grass/futon/crate.  The sun feels good on my bones.  Devin didn't want me getting a sunburn or too hot, so i was shuffled over into the shade with my blanket.

Devin and Melissa left me alone at the house with the crazy Twins and Angel while they went to speak with Steve the pool man.   They found out that there is either a leak in the line or the skimmer/elbow has a leak.

All in all, it was a good day by all.

Enjoying the sun patch in the car
Crazy Twins - minutes after we arrived
Enjoying the sun - twins being twins
Hanging out in the part shade
Watching the Twins fly around
Enjoying the peace and quiet
Waiting for Melissa to come back in (after their return from the pool place)

Upset - Devin stopped me from eating Angel's food. :(
Listening to the lady across the street. Can't see her though

Heat and puddle stomping

Friday we went to Melissa's  to play Pool Boy.   That consisted of me driving around town with Devin and Melissa.  Melissa stayed in the car with me and the A/C while Devin ran into a few places to pick up things that were needed for the pool.

Once back at Melissa's I was greeted by The Twins and Angel.  Angel for the most part of the time pays no attention to me.  The Twins however, look out!   They were trying to use me as a springboard.  I did what I had to do outside, then went inside to stay out of the heat.  I stayed inside the crate for the most part; venturing to the futon every now and then.  It was still pretty hot in the house. I've been spoiled with A/C all my life.
getting there
On Saturday when Devin went back to Melissa's to play Pool Boy, I stayed at home with the A/C. I didn't mind one bit.  Devin was only gone for a few hours.

We had quite the storm Saturday evening; it was short but boomed.   This morning a storm clipped through pretty fast.  As per my usual routine, I climbed into bed with Devin for my post breakfast snooze.   There was one real loud boom of thunder that caused me to perk my head and ears up.  Devin asked me, What was that???, told me it was thunder, and we both went back to sleep.

A few hours later we went out for our morning walk.  We must have gotten TONS of rain, the rain was pouring off the grass, on to the sidewalk, down into the ditch, and floating away at a fast rate.
There wasn't a dry place to walk. I decided to stomp through the puddles.

Here are a few photos from Friday:
When Devin came home from work Friday morning I was busy keeping the pillows and top of the bed warm for Devin.

Devin told me it was time to get up and go outside. I wasn't quite ready. I decided to hide my head under the pillows.

We went to bed. Devin woke up to me being semi sprawled on Devin's back.

This evening - post supper snooze

We are going where??
Statute
Back in the truck. Off to see Gina
Ignored Gina.
Front nails were clipped by Gina. A few screams of death, a few dramatic jumps on the table.  Devin was there to hold me.  *I trust only Devin near my corns*
Gina clipped my back toe nails. No dramatic screams of death.  Done before we knew it. Devin thought Gina still had my other back foot to do.  Gina's greyt!
Gina gave me treats
All was forgiven.
Back in the truck
Back to Melissa's

Stayed in the crate while Devin and Melissa ran out to pick up a few items for the pool.
Came home, Happy to see Devin
Went outside.

Devin and Melissa (Team Mel-Vin)  relocated "Right Eye" from the pool.  There were a total of 4 frogs the other day, but only 1 could be found today.    Right Eye (he only has a right eye) was brought down to the river where all his other relatives from years past have been brought.    Before being released he went for a ride on the skimmer. He didn't want to get off.   When Team Mel-Vin would set him back down into the water he'd swim like crazy to get back on the skimmer.
relocation bucket
Right Eye didn't like rock in the bucket. He much preferred the skimmer to ride on
netting on top. time to relocate!
First and last road trip
released into the river. heaps of  baby minnows were swimming about.  Right Eye swam into the algae area
